Yesterday it was cherry bread and today it’s finding a helper 🐈, while I gather plants from the garden and make a start on comfrey salve to soothe all manner of winter aches and pains ….
The garden is filling up with so many medicinal plants- comfrey, lavender, lemon balm and lovage was the harvest today.
I only take a title every time to encourage growth and leave plenty for the bees 🐝

The Autumn Equinox on the Clyde, 2025.
I can’t believe we’re already this far into the year! .I’ll use this as an awkward segue (self promotion doesn't come easy to me) to remind you that my 2026 Calendars are now available in my online shop (link in comments).

They can also be purchased at the Clyde Marina reception at Ardrossan Harbour (opposite Cecchini’s Restaurant) or, at Modes Vintage Uk, 126 Main Street, West Kilbride, Modes Vintage are open Wednesday to Saturday, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Opening times can vary, so if you’re travelling from further afield, it’s best to message Lisa first.
