Happy International Womenās Day! May we continue to walk in the footsteps of those before us, and forge the way for those yet to come.
Here are a few of the INSPIRATIONAL women who helped us get where we are today! Comment below who you find inspirational.
The Suffragettes - they fought vehemently for women's rights, most specifically, the right to vote.
Eleanor Roosevelt - was involved with women's issues, working with the Women's Trade Union League and the International Congress of Working Women.
Frida Kahlo - was a Mexican born artist who used her art to highlight taboo topics for women such as abortion, miscarriage, birth, and breastfeeding, among other things. In doing so, she opened up a conversation about these topics.
Gloria Steinem - was often referred to as the "Mother of Feminism," she led the women's liberation movements throughout the '60s and '70sāand continues to do so today.
