Hello 👋🏻

We’ve had an influx of new followers this weekend, so I thought we’d reintroduce ourselves. I’m Holly, a first time Mama to my lovely daughter Indigo. We live by the coast, in the North East of England, with our hairy hound, Ernie.

I started Handpicked by Indie in October last year, as I wanted to help parents find brands and products we loved as first time parents. Since then, not only have we gone on to sell brands we love, but we’ve also started to sell our own handmade items. From personalised gifts to knitwear, it’s been a hoot!

Not a day goes by, where we aren’t incredibly grateful for all of you. Whether you support us through a sale, or sharing our content, it really means the world to us 🌎

Need to brighten up your child’s room or playroom pronto? We now sell digital downloads, ready to be printed at home immediately. Perfect for any last minute adjustments or a quick change of scenery!

Our first set of four print is ideal to brighten up any space. We’ve used our brand colours to ensure it will be loved by everyone and attract little ones attention.

The prints have been designed to:
• Teach children about routine and schedules
• Understand their environment and how to prepare for the weather
• Encourage the development and understanding of emotional literacy
• Prompt daily conversations about each topic to help aid learning

From announcing a pregnancy, or the all important ‘I’m here’, we have you covered.

Each announcement is transferred to an 100% cotton baby grow and can say pretty much whatever you please (within reason 😂). Just pop us a message to discuss what you’re after and I’ll work my magic ✨

Here we have and announcing their little bundle of joy arriving May this year. We cannot wait! This baby grow is available to buy on our store already, just add the name and date to the personalisation box and we’ll do the rest.

My beautifully, little Indie having so much fun with our water colour easel 🎨

If you have any little picassos at home, this is a must! With six different pictures to choose from, it’ll keep your little ones entertained (at least enough time for you to have a cup of tea!) I squeezed in a biscuit too 👏🏻

Also, which parent doesn’t love mess free activities?! Although messy play is important, sometimes it isn’t the most practical, for example when out and about or during travel. This little easel could be taken to a restaurant, or used during travel as the spiral pad keeps everything together and the pen uses water instead of ink. Meaning no pen marks either 😊

Pardon the L word, but we are in LOVE with our homemade valentines items.

First up we have some personalised pyjamas, perfect for your little lovebugs 🐞 Made from 100% cotton, the super soft fabric is perfect for all those extra cuddles! We also have the same style as an babygrow/sleepsuit too, so no one is left out. The text can be edited if there is something else you’d prefer it to say, just pop us a message 😊

Then next up we have the heart patterned hats😍 Handmade by Indie’s grandma, these are not to be missed! Each hat has a removable pom pom, making them easy to be chucked in the wash. As much as we love our little love bugs, they are prone to being a little sticky and messy. Here at HBI we always try to find ways to make your life easier, so washable items are a must!

One of my goals for the New Year was to include more products focused on Wellbeing.. well, here’s our first!

The Busy Mama Planner is designed to help overwhelmed Mum’s, who are struggling with the ever growing responsibilities of motherhood. The planner includes over 50 pages of information and activities to help you feel in control of your day to day life.

It touches on topics such as:
• Budgeting as a parent
• Self-care as a busy Mum
• Stress free meal planning
• Wellbeing section with sleep tracking and exercise planners
• How to manage household responsibilities
And much more!

We’re really excited about this one, as it’s good to create something that is linked to my many years of studying at university 😅
