It is with the heaviest heart that I announce the shop will be closing on June 1st 💔
As many of you know, the shop holds such a special place in my heart and has been my 2nd home for the last 6+ years. It was my Dads pride and joy so it certainly makes for a tough goodbye
but before then can I just say…
WOW what a crazy ride its been!!!!!

To my customers and those that have supported me since day 1 - thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for keeping my dream alive for so long. I am so grateful!
To the businesses that have supported the shop - you’re all amazing and I will continue to send the support your way. Small Bizz ALWAYS!
To my customers who are now family - you know who you are and I am so happy you are a part of my life now
To my mum and my lovely dad - I really couldn’t have done any of this without you both. I know one of you is proud, I just hope the other is too 🤍
My little family and my friends who have been there since opening - you’ve all played your part in making this a success for me and I will ALWAYS remember that.
On a personal level, the last 2 years have been really tough, so I truly know it’s the right time to make a change - and that is the most important reason🤍
All that being said, GENE & RITA isn’t going anywhere🙌🏻 I’m just ready for a new challenge and to guide the business into a new direction. Our website is staying, our uniforms are staying, pointe shoe fittings will be relocated, and GET READY for bigger and better masterclasses and events!!! I hope you’re ready as the first announcement is coming your way very soon…
