Punching holes and stitching. Honestly, my least favourite and most favourite part of the process. Stitching you can get lost in and just enjoy. But one hit of the mallet at the wrong angle while punching holes can ruin the wallet.

Black Friday expectations vs reality. Sometimes it’s ok not to get hundreds of sales when it seems everyone else is knocking it out of the park.

This game is a long one and you don’t need to make all your sales in a day.

Here’s how I pack my handmade leather goods. This is the first physical interaction someone’s going to have with the brand. So I like to make this as special as it can be.

Small handwritten touches, a little section of thread from the wallet, tasteful branding and my favourite tea bag. Hopefully this puts a smile on the face of the lucky recipient.

Hand stitched. Every time. No exceptions.

It’s my favourite part of the process and arguably the biggest differentiator between my wallets and the high street brands. I’ve literally torn apart an Amazon wallet in an earlier video with my bare hands. I can barely cut through this stitching, let alone pull it apart. It’s overkill for a wallet, but I don’t mind.
