They stop because they don't have time 😅

The funny thing is... none of this was ever part of the plan 😅

Ten years ago I was recovering from emergency surgery after an ectopic pregnancy, feeling completely lost and wondering what life was going to look like next.

I bought a £40 sewing machine from eBay.

Not because I wanted to start a business.
Not because I had grand plans.
Not because I thought I'd one day be teaching hundreds of mums how to sew.

I simply needed something for me.

Something to focus on.
Something to help me switch my brain off for a little while.

Fast forward 10 years and that little £40 sewing machine changed everything 💛
It helped me find myself again.
It gave me confidence.
It became a hobby, a business and eventually a way of helping other mums discover the power of sewing too.

And honestly?
That's why I'm so passionate about helping busy mums learn to sew.

Because sometimes it's not really about the sewing at all.
It's about finding a little piece of yourself again ✂️💛

I spend a ridiculous amount of time thinking about ways to make sewing easier for busy mums.

Because I know the problem isn't usually motivation.

The problem is time.

If you're a mum, you're already spinning about 47 plates at once.

Which is why I'm obsessed with removing as much faff as possible.

More creative.

Has nothing to do with sewing.

It's the friendships.
Watching mums walk into a room knowing nobody...
And a few weeks later chatting like they've known each other forever.

Motherhood can feel surprisingly lonely sometimes.
Which is why finding your people matters so much.
