A few more hours until Wigan Youth Zone takes on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, that’s 25 miles in 12 hours!

We are raising money to purchase mountain bikes for the young people of Wigan to increase our outdoor activities offer. This will allow young people to make memories and have the opportunity to see new places and engage in the sport.

£1, £5, £10 or anything that’ll help not just us to reach a target of £2500 but it will help the 8-25yr olds throughout these tough times.

Challenges are what makes life interesting, so we challenge you to try at least one of our sessions a week to focus on your hobbies and interests!

Alongside our new offer, we will be continuing the Virtual Youth Zone and maintaining our online interaction via telephone calls, Zoom sessions and virtual mentoring. We will also continue our Targeted Outreach programme which ensures that a number of young people will be able to engage face-to-face with youth workers in community settings including Abrham Ward, Platt bridge Tyldesley, Atherton, Wigan Central and Leigh from 4pm onwards, Monday to Friday.

As a charity we are proud to enrich the lives of so many young people during the current crisis. We are working hard to continue to create up to 10 sessions a week 10 x 50p = £5.
