On Wednesday 10th June, join us at Knight’s Grange Sports Complex for a lap of the track you’ll never forget. Bring a running buddy or make a new friend on the night!

After a short briefing, you’ll run either blindfolded or wearing goggles simulating a visual impairment guided by a fellow runner. Then return the favour, guiding your partner around the track. How far will your teamwork and trust take you? The runners with the fastest combined lap times will take part in a grand final with all the kudos at stake!

Afterwards, relax and enjoy a delicious meal at the Bulls Head in Davenham, and hear from Neil and Lora about their incredible career in para cycling and their experience in disability sport.

As well as having a fantastic evening, you’ll be supporting Speed of Sight. John and Mike will be with us to explain about the work they do and how you’re helping to transform lives and change perceptions.��

Registration fee £25. Minimum suggested fundraising £75. Drinks at the meal not included.

Following numerous complaints that our Escape Running shorts have enabled too many people to move too quickly with their phones, keys, KitKats, and assorted other clobber, we’re proud to announce a strictly limited run of Escape Walking shorts.

Specially designed to slow you down so that you may more fully appreciate nature over a longer workout, Escape Walking 13kg-in-1 Shorts feature:

✅ Added weight to maximise your efforts. Additional weight available at additional cost. Early adopters can also enter a paid ballot to give founder a piggy-back. You won’t win, but you might get a jacket if you agree to donate your entry fee to our Christmas party fund.

❌ No pockets. You don’t need them. Leave your phone at home and watch where you’re going instead of checking the ‘gram. You don’t need gels, just forage for food en-route. You’ll soon learn which berries/mushrooms not to eat. Keys? Just walk, leave the car at home. Your significant other may let you back in when you get home. If you get home.

We love hearing your feedback! 💚 Richard sent us this after the Cheshire Spring Half Marathon the other day:

“I only ever wear the Escape shorts now but today they were fully utilised. Two drinks in the inside pockets, jelly babies in the left, keys in the zip and a tissue for my glasses in the right, plus my phone in the back. I genuinely never felt any of them during the run and they are so comfy.”
