It’s 1am in the early hours of Saturday morning, and you take a quick glance out your window because something catches your eye.

You see a man dragging a woman across the room, and you spot this because the windows have no curtains 🪟

You also hear the woman screaming and calling for help so you call the police, pleased you trusted your instincts. This was the reality for one Cambridge neighbour last weekend.
We arrived and arrested one man on suspicion of assault.

Sometimes, it’s not the victims of domestic abuse themselves who raise the alarm – but concerned friends, family or neighbours who suspect all isn’t as it seems.
Behind closed doors, relationships can be a very different story 🏠 😞
