You have found the dress. It is bold, it is beautiful, and it deserves a hat that can hold its own. Inside the marquee, with white linen and gold chairs and the most glorious floral arrangements, the mother of the bride deserves to feel every inch as magnificent as the occasion.

The Anya brings exactly that energy. Its huge undulating brim frames the face with real presence, while a pair of dramatic feather mounts sweep upward and outward — the extended delicate feathers catching every breath of breeze from the open marquee. There is a moment, walking down the aisle of a grand cathedral with stained glass casting rainbows at your feet, when every head turns — and you want to feel utterly, completely yourself. Barbara was made for exactly that moment.

This graduated deep teardrop perching hat is trimmed with three large handmade silk roses: two facing forward to greet the congregation, and a third turned gracefully towards the back — a thoughtful little detail so that the guests seated behind you have something beautiful to admire too. Tulips, daffodils, painted eggs, a rather pleased-looking rabbit and a very small lamb have apparently staged a joyful takeover of this yellow boater - and honestly, I'm not entirely sure I disapprove! 🐰🌷
This one is purely for the fun of it - a little Easter fancy created with AI to raise a smile on a sunny April morning 🌞. There's something quietly magnificent about a hat that lets one beautiful detail do all the talking.

This wide-brimmed creation - crafted in sinamay with a sweeping east-west brim and a chisel crown - is finished with a generously sculpted asymmetric bow in a rich raw silk, and features a hand-stitched bind running around the brim in the same silk. The colour contrast is deliberate and considered: simple in structure, but with a presence that photographs beautifully from every angle.

I love this style for a Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom who either has a patterned dress and wants her hat to pick up just one colour from the fabric, letting the rest of the outfit breathe or a customer who has a monochrome outfit planned and the colours can harmonise together beautifully. It would also a wonderful choice for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot, a Garden Party at Buckingham palace, or a Royal Investiture ceremony - occasions where understated elegance really counts.

'Trinity' is available to order in hundreds of colour combinations, using silk from my studio or perhaps even a piece from your dressmaker so the match is absolutely perfect. No two of my designs are ever made alike.

"Simon helped design & then created my hat for my daughters wedding and it couldn't have been more stunning. I was having trouble colour-matching my dress with any hat on the high street but Simon wasn't fazed and made the whole process so easy. He was also able to incorporate the colour of the bridesmaid dresses as well as the n**e colour of my shoes in his design. He then also suggested & made a necklace & earring set that was also stunning. He is absolutely amazing at what he does and I wouldn't hesitate to visit him again if I'm ever in need of another hat!"

Doesn’t she look wonderful alongside her daughter on her wedding day. I designed this perching saucer fascinator in the softest pale lilac, built around a large layered silk rose, a sweep of n**e feathers, a touch of teal leaf detail, and a delicate silver loop trim. The colour story runs beautifully through the entire look - picking up the lilac of the bridesmaids, the blush of the bridal flowers, and the n**e of her shoes. Her Ispirato dress and jacket are simply perfect with it.

I designed this hat to feel refined, flattering and easy to wear, with a shallow crown that sits comfortably and creates a wonderfully poised silhouette for a special occasion.

I have trimmed Rosie with a charming silk-and-organza rose and a pretty bow, giving the design a soft, romantic finish that feels perfect for a Mother of the Bride hat, a Mother of the Groom hat, or a distinguished summer wedding guest look. The blush pink shown here feels especially timeless, but I can make this hat in a wide range of colour combinations so that it coordinates beautifully with your outfit.
