📣 A Heartfelt Update from Tikiboo + Q&A
It is with deep regret and heartbreak that we must inform you that Tikiboo has been forced to pause all trading and operations for the time being.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve done everything we could to try and save the business. We explored emergency funding, spoke with investors and potential buyers, and even selling our possessions to try and inject capital into the company. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, things moved too quickly — and we were unable to recover in time.
Due to financial challenges, we fell behind on payments to our fulfilment partner. As a result, they were unable to continue processing orders — including holding customer stock and stopping shipments. This created a devastating cycle:
We couldn’t trade without orders being fulfilled, and we couldn’t pay off debts without being able to trade. Despite every effort to resolve this behind the scenes, it brought our operations to a complete standstill.
This has been the most heartbreaking time in our journey. Tikiboo has been our life for 11 years. We’ve built it from nothing, and we know so many of you have been with us from the very beginning. The messages we’ve received in the past week — full of support, love, and concern — have truly meant the world.
We’ve always prided ourselves on being transparent and honest with our community, so here are answers to some of the most common questions we’ve received:

📦 “Where is my order?”
All orders are currently frozen due to the business being paused. This includes pre-orders and any orders placed before this announcement. We're devastated not to be able to fulfil them at this time.
💳 “Can I get a refund?”
Refunds are currently not possible while the company undergoes financial assessment. We understand how frustrating this is and are doing our best to work through this legally and responsibly.
🔁 “Can I return an item?”
Returns are also on hold. Unfortunately, we’re unable to process any returns or exchanges at this time.
📝 “Why didn’t you warn us earlier?”
Behind the scenes, we were fighting hard to save Tikiboo. We were actively in discussions with lenders and buyers, and hoped we could fix things before they became public. It was never our intention to keep you in the dark — we just genuinely believed we could turn things around in time.
❌ “Are you closing down?”
We are currently working with insolvency professionals to determine the next steps. The company is frozen while that process takes place. We will provide a full update when we can.
❤️ “Will Tikiboo return?”
We don’t know. Right now, our focus is on honouring our responsibilities and treating our community with honesty and care during this incredibly difficult time.
We’re truly sorry. We know many of you feel let down, and that is incredibly hard to write — because letting you down is the last thing we ever wanted to do.
