There are moments that stop a community in its tracks, moments that make us hold our loved ones a little tighter. Today, weโre sharing one of those moments.
Many of you will know ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐, the friendly, hardworking painter and decorator who has brightened so many of our homes and businesses over the last couple of years. Heโs someone who always showed up with a smile, always gave his best, and always treated people with kindness.
Now, at an age where he should be building his future, heโs facing something no young family should ever have to face. ๐๐๐ง ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ and even with the chemotherapy treatment plans he has been given a life expectancy of ๐โ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ. Itโs devastating, unfair, and impossible to comprehend.
Dan has a loving wife Alice and a beautiful 16 month old daughter Hazel who is just beginning to discover the world. Their time together โ the ordinary moments, the cuddles, the laughter, the memories still waiting to be made โ has suddenly become painfully precious.
As they navigate this unimaginable reality, the financial pressure is overwhelming. Everyday costs, the mortgage, bills, and the need for time together without the weight of worryโฆ itโs more than any family should have to carry alone.
