I recently emptied my workshop and moved everything back home, it’s given me the boost to have a major sort out…I came across these jeans that I had started to upcycle (one leg done, one unpicked and the panel ready to be sewn in) I finished them off and now have a totally unique, perfectly fitting pair of jeans, I’ve worn them a few times and had so many compliments 🥰

After 7 years of working from Corn Street, alongside the wonderful people at the Windrush Bike Project, I have decided to move the studio back home.
I will still be running classes and 1-1 sewing lessons from my house.
This has been a very difficult decision, I have truly loved having the workshop space but since I've had to take a step back from doing sewing work it's just not viable to keep it on.
I am spending the next few weeks getting organised (in between teaching) and will be having a clearance sale, as I can't fit everything in at home!

💫 Our 2026 Prom season is well underway 💫 So far this week we have kitted out 12 boys for their Prom with suits, shirts, shoes and ties. Boys suits are particularly great as they can also then be used for job interviews, work experience etc 💫 But we need more, especially in smaller sizes, age 14 upwards (approx 30-34” chest).

This makes me very happy! Finally something is happening to stop the insane overproduction of fashion, a few people I’ve mentioned this to recently were shocked it was even a thing, I’m interested to know how many other people were aware…
Did you know that fashion brands routinely destroy huge volumes of clothing that just didn’t sell? Including high end brands (to preserve their exclusivity!)
