Desperately needed a wee, and my inhaler, by the end.
(Note to self - lay off the caffeine before a run!)
But 22 Minutes, without stopping, done! Wasn't expecting quite the leap on this day but I did it 🙌

*Posting the occasional run not to show-off but to help keep me accountable - scrolling through my posts when life gets me down is a good reminder of what I can and have achieved be it running, parenting or just enjoying life 💚✌️

Heres a little peek at some of the crafty fun I get up to in at my wonderful day job with the . We recently got a special delivery of 4 sewing machines which I have been, 1 by 1 testing out with the trainees (finally struck the gold on the 3rd machine). Today K did an amazing job sewing the fabric section of these cute little bows - perfect for upcoming Jubilee celebrations and beyond!
The best bit of my job - beyond having the space to get crafty, is teaching our trainees and the joy of watching them progress in their skills and confidence 💗

Working on something a little different today...

Home/Mothering life has ground me down a bit this last month and I've really struggled to find the time to just slow down, breathe and take some time for myself.
So today, well yesterday, when the littlest love was napping I got onto a project I've had brewing in my mind's eye for a long while now. Had a quiet our just focusing on these little dolls house furnishings, with no distractions and a hot cuppa for a peaceful 45 minutes - then my oldest love got back from school...😆

Woke up early this morning (with the worst chest pain!) and hopped on my trusty to sew these sweet miniature pillows, duvets and cushions ☺️ before the oldest one woke up and here we go again with uniform finding, lunches to make...Life is busy but it really is important to find those little gaps in the day for yourself, no matter how small they may be ❤️
