Our Beginners Sewing School is really good value for money, working out at under £30 for each week and that includes all of your materials!!

Catie is a great teacher who shows patience and is always smiling!

This course is aimed at ALL who want to learn to sew as we are using a unisex pj pattern!

So now we’ve passed payday, treat yourself and learn a new skill in May! Start your garment making journey!

A huge warm welcome to Catie, Instagram , who is our new sewing tutor!

Unfortunately, the lovely Gill is having some time away from tutoring at the moment and we have been so very lucky to be able to tempt the wonderful Catie to Bugweed’s!!

Catie moved to York 15 years ago from her hometown in Warwickshire, started sewing in 2016 after a friend suggested it and she’s been hooked ever since, squeezing in sewing around a career in the NHS.

Our first series of workshops with Catie are designed for beginners, dust that machine off and get booking!!

They will be on the website by this evening so keep your eyes peeled!!!

Well, tonight I have to say I am NOT finishing my dress!! The champers has come out and as it’s only me that drinks it, I don’t think it’s the best idea to try and sew 😂😂
