Nino Kasradze and Salome Topuria, a real-life mother and daughter, appear here not as the Beales, but as themselves. They inhabit that fragile territory. Mother and daughter, but never simply just that.

Echoes of Big Edie and Little Edie appear and disappear, sometimes exchanging places, sometimes existing simultaneously within both women. each shaping and reflecting one other.

Rather than a recreation, these images engage with the mythology of Grey Gardens. the strange intimacy between mothers and daughters.
