๐ธ๐ช๐ค๐ฌ๐ชOn May 8th, the Embassy had the pleasure of hosting a dynamic group of Georgian textile and apparel companies, as a precursor to an upcoming Market Orientation Mission to Sweden.
This week, the companies will embark on an insightful journey to Sweden, where they'll dive deep into the Swedish textile and apparel market. They'll learn about buyer/importer requirements and discover what Swedish clients and end consumers expect.
During the event, the companies shared their excitement and expectations for the trip, recounted their experiences working with international buyers, and discussed their strategies for market expansion. They also explored the challenges and opportunities for growing the textile and apparel sector in Georgia.
This Market Orientation Mission is organized by Open Trade Gate Sweden, a function of the National Board of Trade Sweden, in partnership with the Reconomy project, funded by Sida and implemented by Helvetas. The project also includes textile and apparel companies from Armenia, Moldova, and Ukraine, adding even more diversity and collaboration to the initiative.
