Day 23
When we face adversity and disappointments, we can be strong and courageous or patient and composed, because the gentle and quiet, supreme power of the eternal Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead, abides in our mortal bodies. His light can break through the darkness we face bringing forth the grace of God's glory in Christ. His grace is more than sufficient for whatever we encounter whether it’s the enemy within, our own weaknesses, or the enemy on the outside, His power can shine through our human frailty as we recognize our limitations and draw from the well of God’s strength, affirming it is God's power, not ours, that provides the resources we need. Our response is one of gratitude, thanksgiving, and praise as we face the challenges, subdue our impulses, and ultimately see our enemies disarmed before us. Glory to God!
Deuteronomy 31:6 BSB
Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.
