The Dialogue Utility Set represents more than a conversation between Kente and Tie-Dye.
It also reflects a conversation between people, cultures, and communities across Africa.
Designed by a Liberian fashion house and photographed in Ghana with a Ghanaian model, this project celebrates the connections that exist beyond borders and the shared heritage that continues to inspire contemporary African design.
At LOBÔE, we believe fashion can be a bridge—connecting stories, craftsmanship, and cultures across the continent.
DIALOGUE Utility Set
A dialogue between Kente and Tie-Dye.
Developed through the careful pairing of two heritage textiles, this design explores how colour, texture, and structure can enhance one another. The darker and lighter shades found within both fabrics create a visual conversation across the garment, while exposed Kente raw-edge details introduce texture and movement.
Designed by LOBÔE as part of our ongoing exploration of African craftsmanship through contemporary form.
