As we conclude the story of the LOBÔE BASSA™ County Heritage Set, there is no more meaningful day to do so than today.

This collection began with a question:

How do we preserve heritage without leaving it in the past?

Our answer was to transform Liberia’s traditional County Cloth into contemporary menswear while preserving the craftsmanship, identity, and history woven into every thread.

Today’s final images celebrate the details that complete the story—from the clean tailoring and functional pockets to the careful construction and relaxed silhouette.

Every stitch is intentional.

Every stripe carries a legacy.

Every garment is our tribute to Liberia’s rich textile heritage and to the artisans whose work continues to inspire us.

Today, we celebrate 179 years of Liberian independence and the enduring creativity of our people.

This collection is more than the launch of a new garment. It marks the beginning of LOBÔE’s menswear journey and our commitment to reimagining Liberian heritage through contemporary design.

This campaign was brought to life through collaboration, featuring a talented Ghanaian Zulky 🇬🇭 Based Makeup Artist whose presence embodies the confidence and elegance of the collection, together with a skilled Ghanaian makeup artist whose artistry completed the visual story. It is a reminder that while this garment celebrates Liberian heritage, creativity knows no borders, and African excellence grows stronger through collaboration.

With every journey through Ghana, I became fascinated by the rhythm of Northern Ghanaian weaving—not just its colours, but its structure, texture and quiet confidence.

The exposed fringe was not added as ornament.

It was preserved as texture.

The sweeping appliqué was positioned by hand so every curve follows the architecture of the garment.

The woven stripe remains uninterrupted wherever possible, allowing the textile itself to become part of the design language.

Utility pockets are shaped for function before aesthetics.

Metal hardware introduces subtle contrast.

The raw hems echo the unfinished honesty found throughout the piece.

Every decision is intentional.

Nothing has been added simply to decorate.

When craftsmanship becomes the design, every stitch has a reason to exist.
