this year with Father's Day and Juneteenth sharing the same Sunday. My big Bruv Groovey Lew the Fashion King aka and bka the Prince of Fashion MikeB aka Fly Fisher- had this Epiphany to honor their transitioned Babas “ Big Lew and Bunny” by producing a "Great Father’s Day In Harlem" homage to today's Black fathers, Kings and Sons (of course, inspired by the classic Gordon Parks photo) 1958’s “ A Great Day In Harlem ( do your homework).. It was a day of well-dressed excellence and reflection, where this moment was lead by PhotoG .
Today, I'm still overwhelmed with honor, humility and gratitude having shared and added to this experience with the Regal Gents that came out and to the Queens who too also pulled up for their lovely support. As well as EVERYONE who to played a huge part in the ex*****on of this magical magnificent day!!
Thank you for once again being a home and for documenting this new Black history.
There is strength and beauty in numbers.
