After successfully completing her first degree in Statistics in University of Cape coast, Ghana, Abena King Piesie worked with the Statistical board of Ghana. She found out later that Life would be more meaningful if she followed her interest. So, on a certain day, she decided to do what she loved doing; fashion. She enrolled in the famous Joyce Ababio Creative Arts College in Accra. While taking the course she began establishing Knaspa Trendz at the garage of her house. Now, Knaspa Trendz has evolved from the small business at the garage to a bigger one at her own complex at Patang, Accra with workers and apprentices numbering five.
