Shoe Fabriek Shoe Fabriek focuses on making high-quality shoes and apparel for men, women, and children.

Shoe Fabriek is a wholly Ghanaian-owned shoe factory located in Akropong-Akuapem in the Eastern Region of Ghana with a vision of transforming the African shoe-making industry. The factory, with its state-of-the-art technology and full-fledged infrastructure, has a capacity of producing 800 pairs of different models a day including security boots, school shoes, and casual shoes.

We were happy to attend the launch of the SME Growth and Opportunity Programme yesterday!

The event, spearheaded by the Ministries of Finance and Trade and Industry, which aims to provide coordinated financial and technical support to high-growth potential SMEs like ours, driving economic growth and development.

Held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra Ghana , the launch was themed 'Breaking Barriers to SME Growth' and brought together around 150 participants from various sectors, including private enterprises, academia, business regulatory and compliance institutions, media, industry, multilateral and bilateral partners, and financial service providers.

The speakers, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Dr. Ernest Addison (Governor of the Bank of Ghana), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina (President of the African Development Bank Group), and K.T. Hammond (Minister for Trade and Industry), emphasized the crucial role of SMEs in Ghana's economic landscape in their speeches.
The programme features collaboration with several key partnering agencies committed to supporting SME growth in Ghana, including the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), Ghana EXIM Bank Development Bank Ghana (DBG), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
