Wow wow wow, we were blown away by the generosity shown by all for our raffle a few weeks back.
Whether it was donating prizes, buying tickets or sharing with friends - the energy to support this cause in tough times did not fall short. We made a total of £2200, and hopefully this will push Aunty over the finishing line of the work.

Working in collaboration with Aunty’s Fashion Home in the Volta region community of Dzita-Agbledom, Ghana. We’ve launched this raffle to raise funds for Aunty to finish constructing a new site for her fashion home. Due to personal issues beyond her control, she has had to stop working from her current premises and we want to do everything we can to help fund the construction of a new building, so she can continue to grow her business independently.

The money raised from the raffle will go directly to Aunty to finish the roofing, plastering, rendering, screeding, fixing windows and doors of the new premises, which she began the building work on last year in Agbledomi.

Well hello! It’s been a hot sec. We’ve been taking a little post summer break but the big news is that this Wednesday we are launching an incredible raffle with tons of amazing prizes up for grabs.

Why? Aunty, the woman who makes the Asime collections, has had to stop working from her fashion home for personal reasons and is currently building her new premises (pictures and drawings shown above). She’s about 35000GHS (£2300) off finishing and needs a little helping hand to raise this amount of money and complete the construction.

For full transparency, none of this money goes into our business, it’s purely being raised so that Aunty can start this new chapter of her business. She is not employed by us and works regularly with other suppliers so this new premises will give her the space to expand and grow in a way she’s always hoped to.

Thanks so much to everyone who has gifted prizes to this raffle, they include 2023 Festival tickets, designer bags, Asime vouchers and much more. The raffle will launch this Wednesday and run for two weeks, more info coming then! Any questions please feel free to ask away.

As our Summer Sale continues we are taking the time to think about our next steps with a zero waste approach in mind. We’re exploring the idea of repurposing dead stock, bringing back old favourites with fabric rolls ends left at Aunty’s Fashion Home, and creating limited edition pieces with one-off fabric samples.
