EKEINI means “she” in Greek. It’s a confident, cosmopolitan woman with timeless taste who loves art and travelling to sunny destinations. It’s you, it’s the woman behind the colourful prints, Vaggie Kastanidou, a former professional dancer and mother. For all of us it’s been the contemporary designer resortwear we love since 2015, when almost by chance, Vaggie created her first collection, a year after finding fabrics and sewing her own designs because she couldn’t find summer clothes she loved. Going to the Premiere Vision exhibition in Paris the following year and seeing textiles with patterns opened her horizons to the colourful prints that became the brand’s identity under her artistic direction. She describes her collections as full of light which represents the Greek element and loves to design loose, flattering lines to wear from day to night in effortless luxury. One successful collection after another has lead to the addition of accessories, Ekeini Fitness and porcelain objects for your home.
After eight years full of creativity EKEINI has now come to an end. We thank you for all the love we’ve received and hope you cherish every piece of EKEINI as much as we do 🩵✨
