Είμαι η Λουκία και η ιδέα της misirlou μου ήρθε στο μυαλό την άνοιξη του 2013 ενώ εργαζόμουν ήδη για αρκετά χρόνια ως αρχιτέκτονας εσωτερικών χώρων.
Από το 2010 είχα ξεκινήσει να ράβω και να μεταποιώ τα δικά μου ρούχα παίρνοντας μεγάλη χαρά από την όλη διαδικασία. Μέσα από αυτή συνδύαζα τη δημιουργική ελευθερία με τη χειρωνακτική εργασία για τη δημιουργία ενός χρηστικού αντικειμένου, που είχα τη δ

υνατότητα να το δω ολοκληρωμένο άμεσα. Αυτά σε συνδυασμό με την αγάπη μου για το design, το ένδυμα και το αξεσουάρ, ήταν αρκετά για να με ωθήσουν να το εξελίξω, ώστε 4 χρόνια αργότερα να αλλάξω τελείως επαγγελματική κατεύθυνση.

Ειδικότερα για τις τσάντες, με βασική μου πρώτη ύλη το ύφασμα, στόχος μου είναι να είναι λειτουργικές και ανθεκτικές, δίνοντας ταυτόχρονα πιο πολύ την αίσθηση ρούχου παρά ενός ξεχωριστού αξεσουάρ.
Σχεδιάζω ρούχα και ντύνω τις τσάντες μου!

Επίσης επειδή τα περισσότερα κομμάτια γίνονται κατόπιν παραγγελίας, υπάρχει η δυνατότητα προσαρμογής τους (ως προς το μέγεθος, το χρώμα, το ύφασμα) στον κάθε αποδέκτη χωριστά βάση των αναγκών και προτιμήσεών του.

Hello! My name is Loukia and I came up with the idea of ''misirlou'' in the spring of 2013, having already worked for several years as an interior design architect. It allowed me to combine my creative freedom with manual work, in order to create a useful object which I had the opportunity to see completed within a very short time. The above, in combination with my love for design, clothes and accessories, encouraged me to develop this cre-activity, and 4 years afterwards, I was happy enough to change completely my professional orientation. Particularly, using fabric, as my raw material in my hand - made bags, I aim at a final product that is functional, durable and, at the same time, can offer the sense of a garment than an isolated accessory. I design clothing and cloth my designed bags.
