JR Rostaing Jacques Rostaing brand. Under the Napoleon’s reign, the Maison Rostaing becomes one of the suppliers of the Imperial Army in leather soles.

The story starts in the late 18th century with the creation of the first tannery Rostaing. 1789 is the beginning of the great adventure of the Maison Rostaing. From this first experience, the “Rostaing Spirit” was born. Know-how, quality, and exigency: these are the values transmitted from father to son. Two centuries later, Jacques Rostaing, a worthy heir of the “Rostaing Spirit”, takes on a new

challenge by creating the JR line of luxury leather goods. This lover of beautiful things wanted to share his passion for leather products by offering upscale leather goods, handcrafted from the nest leather. Each JR product has its own history and uniqueness. The leather used, the hand of the leather craftsman and the assembly techniques make it a stunning and extraordinary piece.
