according to Cambridge dictionary “ethic” is “a system of accepted believes that control behavior,” thus culture/religion/nationality/etc specific. “consciousness,” one the other hand is defined as “the state of understanding, or realizing something,” and it is inherent to the human existence regardless of geographic or differentiations and social constructs. CONSCIOUS fashion is here to make us aware of the fact that our planet and the species that inhabit it [flora and fauna (humans and animals)] are in danger, and that’s not something one has to believe in: it’s there for us to realise. is recycling and repurposing materials to make jewellery, and they do so in collaboration with Kenyan local workshops. it was a CONSCIOUS choice these wonderful women made, because they were became aware not only of the consequences of the excessive consumption of natural resources, but also of the disproportionate distribution of wealth in our world. AWARENESS will make our world better, just, functional. and, it might even, save it.
