On Sunday, Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear, founder and CEO of Off-White, and trailblazing force for change in the fashion industry, passed away, following a private battle with a rare form of cancer. “For over two years, Virgil valiantly battled […] cardiac angiosarcoma,” it was announced on his Instagram page. “He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art, and culture.”
