for Anastasi .reworks , memory is not only what is remembered, but the way a place, a taste or a sound remains within the body. tokyo, havana and tuscany become three different states of perception — precision, rhythm and warmth. sushi omakase with sake, fish and wine by the sea, lomo saltado with rum; each one carries its own language of intimacy, ritual and appetite. and through the sound of autechre, susumu yokota, jóhann jóhannsson, kyoto jazz sextet, max richter and boards of canada, the world is not simply heard, but slowly inhabited — as atmosphere, as architecture, as a quiet emotional landscape.
