Textiles Naköj was founded in 2017 with a very clear purpose: to support a small group of highly talented weavers who lacked a market to sell their products.

What began as a social initiative, through hard work and perseverance, grew into a company full of dreams, learning, and growth.

Today, after 9 years, I can say that every sacrifice has been worth it. Sharing our story and inspiring other entrepreneurs is an honor for me as the founder of Textiles Naköj.

In 2023, Susan trusted Textiles Naköj to create a special graduation stole for her first daughter. 🎓

Today, we are happy to share photos of the beautiful 2023 stole, handmade with pride, dedication, and love for our roots and culture.

We are also very grateful because in 2026 we once again had the honor of creating another special stole for her second daughter.

In our next post, we will share the 2026 stole… and it turned out beautiful!

A little piece of Guatemala heading to Canada! ✈️🇬🇹🇨🇦

​We are so happy to have delivered this special order to Maria! She is currently visiting our country and will soon be heading back home to Canada, so we took on the exciting challenge of creating these exclusive designs in just 6 days. 🕒✨

​Mission accomplished! Maria now has her new Mayan "treasure" with her. It fills us with pride to know that these pieces, handmade by talented Guatemalan weavers, will soon cross the ocean to bring color and culture to her home in the North. 🧵💖
