Dave Burton has been a Soul Music enthusiast since the early 1960’s. He soon became an avid record collector searching the market stalls of London to find more and more. When he was old enough, Dave started attending Soul Clubs in the South of the UK and learning different styles of dancing. At the age of 18 Dave heard about the Soul Clubs in the North of England and he, along with some of his mates, sped up the M1 to Blackpool. On a memorable Saturday night they entered the Highland Room for the first time. It changed Dave’s life. That night he became A SOUL MAN.
