In the end, it turned out that the quality of the baos we created were sub-par (albeit full of love). Due to the dough not rising properly and the wet and chewy texture of the bao, we figured that it was not of a standard in which we felt comfortable (for health reasons as well) to distribute.
In the meantime we are participating in helping other established homeless and charity groups with their distributions. Soon we will master the recipe and start our second attempt!
