joker: there are some new technical fabric...

business consultant

nerd: how you see those business consultant?

geek: they are very smart, they are the elite of the world ... but they are not delivering a true value?

geek: have they started up or managed a business before they act as a consultant?

nerd: seems no... my friends being consultants once they graduated from uni..

geek: how they learn about business?

nerd: they are the top students in the top business school

geek: have you seen the professor of business school succeeded in business...

nerd: ... nope

geek: again, how the consultant learn the business

nerd: normally, i saw the junior consultant will help to prepare and manage the powerpoint while the senior consultant are doing the presentation...

geek: then, can we come to the conclusion that, consultant learn the business from their school and company... while their teachers and seniors have never done business as well. from end to end, they only read the business from the paper, not the real world...

nerd: sounds true...

geek: why still so many organisation hire them?

nerd: yes..?? why??

geek: the world are layered with many idiots...

a young entrepreneur

geek had a chat with an european boy (30yrs old) some days ago ...

boy: the old generation always blame us as a spoiled kids. actually, we are tough, can be an entrepreneur too. as long as we have an opportunity, we know where is the treasure, and the roadmap to it. no matter how difficult it is, we can achieve it.

geek: (sweating ^^" ) boy ... if there is a roadmap and a designated location of treasure... it's just an outward bound or a planned career by your mommy.

a true entrepreneur can see only a direction... there is no roadmap, not even a road - u need to open up the road and finally the treasure might not be there... you need to change your direction again... after a few trial n error... wade the river by groping for stones... if you are still alive, u will reach the destination.

the journey is full of uncertainty and disappointment...

boy: (speechless, he knows this is rite but he cannot accept the truth)

Zara goes Online?

What's my opinion on this news? Human can only change themselves during crisis while corona offers us the opportunity of correction.

was the rent reasonable? of course not? but the turnover was still good and even growing, it covered the abnormalities..

should we put more resource to the e-commerce? of course, but with the huge turnover from the offline team. how can you win the office politics? online team is always the minority...

do customers prefer to shop offline? obviously!! you can see it, touch it, try it and feel the ambiance ... until you cannot go shopping physically. you can enjoy another form of joy. the changes happen!

what will happen to the existing online players? as all giants will play online seriously. the new competition will start ...

zara shall develop a better way of O2O approach by leveraging their physical stores.

asos ruled out the possibility of building an offline store. they will keep searching of varieties, expanding its house brand and compete with the price.

how about department stores? sooner or later, it should extinct ...

and the rent? it should go down ... but cannot be too reasonable. thanks to the QE (quantitative easing) policy ...

can the technology finally can do online fitting? probably!

geek: stop creating fashion trend every season... stop buying excessive garments... wear a garment for 5yrs at least...

nerd: sounds easy and true... why those angels of sustainability did not tell us?

geek: their businesses or jobs will be no longer sustainable...

lately, many successful guys are promoting on facebook their pages, person and how their career and life are so great. the funniest thing is … even if u follow their speech, u will never learn what’s their actual business and life … let alone their greatness.

it’s obviously an old trick… but still they can earn many followers, and have their followers to earn more followers…

when u see someone have... a very (or too) confident expression in their eyes and body language, but u can feel it’s fake … or weird...

and they r very eager to tell u his successful stories.. and again, no solid content : p

and share with u many theories to success ...

finally, the only solid stuff in the whole experience is - a motivation course, a course to teach u how to cheat urself as a successful guy, and the cash that u pay to him : D : D : D
