🔥 Village Admission 2026 - NOW LIVE🔥

年度盛事 - 貓草村入村申請

The GRANT Village Admission is finally here ! Thanks for your patience with my slow ass.

You can now make your admission via the website (Link in bio).

Admission period: Now till 31st December 2026

2 new villagers will be selected in January. The winner will be featured in all CATNIP illustrations in the year of 2027, plus receiving a whole set of all relevant merchandises.

After application, you will be contacted for a more detailed interview if your cat gets short listed.

As you can see, the complication is going strong, all sort are chicken tributes are being offered to Mayor Scarface.

CATNIP is not only a brand, but also a frictional cat village I am developing over the year. Every year, village admission opens around summer time and you will have the opportunity to apply to have your own cat to be drawn into the village as a permanent resident.

Your cat will have the chance to be featured in comic series, clothing, accessories and many more !

PARROT GANG COLLECTION is live now 🔥

Jacob is certainly one of the most iconic villagers I have included this year. His encounter with the yellow-crested cockatoo is not only legendary, but also created so much awareness to an endangered species.

I am very honoured to be part of a good cause to help preserving Yellow-crested cockatoo in Hong Kong.

5% of the proceedings will be donated to Cockatoo Watcher for building more nest boxes for the birds in Hong Kong.

I am so proud to present to you the first batch of permanent villagers. I have been introducing them during the past few conventions and it was such a wonderful experience to see you all so excited about this idea 🫶🏻

This is just the start of the comic/ art book that I am currently working on. I can’t wait for the 1st “Village admission” to start in June, so I can start including all your bad ass cats into the village. 🔥🔥🔥

New Villager - “The Calligraphy Dude” 🔥🔥

貓草村「寫字佬」

“Alien, The Calligraphy Dude” is the only cat who knows how to write and read within the CATNIP village. He is also the tattoo master of Mayor Scarface.

His brotherhood with Jacob, The Parrot Gang Boss is truly one of the most beautiful things within the village.

“Ink is his language - Paper is optional, skin is forever.”

Re-drawing all of my old designs - EP 9 🫶🏻

This time I have two of my absolute favourite characters blended together. Please welcome Bob and his favourite Swan - Jimmy!

Bob is certainly one of my most popular characters. You might know him from holding a glass of Duvel in my drawing.

But not everyone knows that Bob actually first appears in one of my illustration “Bridge in Brugge”, where he lead a pack of cats to discipline the swans in the neighbourhood. Later on, I drew him holding different object coz work life balance is very important for Bob.

And Jimmy actually first appears in one of my very very early drawings, even before I started to draw cats. Back then, I just started to draw as a therapeutical thing for my depression, I also used more of a blue hue back then as my mental state was not so well and everything seems “Blue” to me, even the joyful things.

This revision means a lot to me as it’s a huge transition in the use of colour and it also represents the change in my perspective towards the world. Healing from depression was not easy, and I am always grateful I found peace in drawing cats.

And of course this has not been possible with all your love and support. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
