猛犸象牙是猛犸象的门牙，俗称古象牙，又叫万年象牙。猛犸象牙原生尺寸比现代的象牙大，多数因时间久远钙化或石化。猛犸象牙的折射率约1.54，密度约1.70克/立方厘米。中国销售的猛犸象牙以及雕刻成品，其主要原料来源就是西伯利亚的冰冻层里挖掘出来的。由于资源有限，随着人们不断的开采和挖掘，猛犸象牙会越来越少。
