Calling all local consignors! We love supporting local artists, craftsmen, and entrepenuers by displaying and promoting your items at the center. To keep things smooth and secure for everyone, we’re updating our consignor payment policy.

Key Update:
●All consignors must be able to receive payment via a local bank transfer, or pick up sale proceeds at the center during business hours.
●Cash deliveries for sale proceeds will no longer be available as a payment method.

🤔Why this change?

●Improves security and reliability for both consignors and the center.
●Ensures timely, traceable payments.
●Reduces stress of schedule conflicts and handling of cash.

What this means for you:
If you can receive a local transfer (bank transfer or mobile money linked to a local bank), you’re all set.
If you cannot receive a transfer, you must come to the center during business hours to collect your proceeds.

Q: What if I don’t have a local bank account?**
A: If you can receive a local transfer via mobile money or another local transfer method, you’re eligible. Otherwise, you’ll need to pick up proceeds in person during business hours.

Q: Can someone pick up on my behalf?**
A: Yes, with written authorization and a copy of your ID.

Meet Roo: Roatan’s Rescued Hero in a Tropical Shirt!

Roo’s story is one of resilience, love, and new beginnings. Dropped off in the jungle during the rainy season, he was the only survivor of his litter. For weeks, he hid in the jungle, shy and scared, until he finally trusted our community—and eventually, us. With patience, love, and a little help from R.O.A.R., the amazing local rescue organization that paid for his vet bills and neutering, Roo’s transformation began.

Today, Roo is a big, goofy, and hairless bundle of joy—adoring life on the beach with his big sister Lily, both happily enjoying their new home thanks to R.O.A.R and their new family. He’s become the perfect ambassador for hope and second chances, all while sporting one of our colorful tropical pet shirts!

By purchasing a shirt for your furry friend, you’re helping support R.O.A.R’s mission to rescue and care for more island animals like Roo. Plus, a portion of every sale goes to the Roatan Welcome Center's Operation Hope Roatan , helping visitors and locals alike experience the true hospitality and culture of our beautiful island.
