"U globalnim emisijama ugljičnog dioksida moda sudjeluje s gotovo deset posto, a industrijsko bojanje tekstila je drugi najveći zagađivač vode na svijetu. Kako je svojedobno izvijestio UN Enviroment Programme, za proizvodnju jednog para traperica potroši se čak 7,5 tisuća litara vode, a sintetička vlakna postala su jedan od glavnih izvora mikroplastike koja završava morima. Možda zato nije slučajno što je jedna domaća priča o održivoj modi započela upravo u pomorskoj industriji.

Točnije, pomorska agencija osnovana 2004. u Opatiji, Liburnia Group pokrenula je inicijativu koja kroz edukaciju, akcije i povezivanje zajednice potiče odgovorniji odnos prema okolišu. Njena kruna je modni brend Back to Blu nastao u partnerstvu sa zagrebačkim Vagant Studio koji okuplja tekstilne inženjere i dizajnere s međunarodnim iskustvom."

For Back to Blu, packaging was planned with the same care as the product itself.

Each piece is packed in a reusable cotton bag and protected with biodegradable outer packaging made from corn starch. Simple choices, made deliberately, to reduce waste without compromising function.
This is how responsibility stays present all the way to the final detail.

We chose to make less, on purpose.
