Njeni su modeli vrlo dobro izvedeni u funkcionalnom smislu te su konstruirani kao skulpture, a ne forme, zbog čega i djeluju bezvremenski. Za svoje modele ona bira samo najfiniju svilu, viskozu, lan i vunu, a najčešće kombinira dva ili više materijala dok monokolornost razigrava apliciranjem ručno rađenih listova ili cvjetova. Cijelo vrijeme svoga rada dizajnerica nikada nije “podilazila” tržištu, ostala je uvijek vjerna sebi i svojoj viziji žene sa stilom, samosvjesne i prepoznatljive kreirajući svaku svoju novu kolekciju s istim motom: „Moda prolazi – stil ostaje“. The fashion brand Olja was formed in 1987 under the guidance of designer Olja Ivković. Shortly after appearing on the fashion scene, the market quickly identified her unique sense of fashion, resulting in great success and at the same time achieving that the original expression of Boutique Olja becomes one of the leaders in Zagreb’s fashion scene. From the very beginning the designer skilfully avoided the strict following that fashion dictates and placed the emphasis on style, uniqueness and capacity. Innovative and thoughtful avant-garde design she perfectly complements with elegance and clarity. Her models are functional yet designed and structured as sculptures rather than a form, which thus make them timeless. For her designs, she chooses only the finest silk, viscose, linen and wool, although she usually combines two or more materials, while the monochromatic designs are dashed with handmade flowers or leaves. Right from the start her work was never designed by “going along” with the market, but rather remaining true to herself and her vision of a woman with style, self-conscious and identifiable, hence creating each of her new collections under the same motto: “Fashion fades – style remains.
