📄 In 1982 Minolta updated the Hi-Matic AF2 with motorized film advance. The Minolta Hi-Matic AF2-M needs two AA batteries and uses 35mm film. Film speed has to be set manually by means of the grooved wheel around the lens opening. A tone generator buzzes when the image subject is too near for the f2.8 38mm lens or when the flash is needed.

Many features on this machine are fully automated, including auto-exposure, auto film loading, automatic film advance, making it a perfect camera for those shooters who are interested in framing and composition, rather than the mathematics of manual photography.

📄 The Olympus AF-1 Twin (Infinity Twin in the US) of 1988 has a biaxial (twin-lens) system so the user can switch between a 35mm wide-angle lens and a 70mm telephoto lens at the touch of a button. Both lens are very sharp, but the 35mm is definitely the sharper of the two, the 70mm produced some slightly brittle images under more direct light. It also has the weatherproof design developed for the Olympus AF-1 (Nurepika). It's got built-in flash as well as a self-timer. The Olympus AF-1 Twin is easy to use.

📄 The Optima Sensor Electronic series were produced between 1978 and 1983 by the German Agfa company, and initially comprised three viewfinder cameras; the 335, 535 and 1035. The Agfa Optima Sensor Electronic was the last (1982) camera in the Optima Sensor Electronic Series, and is technically identical to the earlier Optima Sensor 535, but was produced by Agfa-Gevaert Portugal. It can be distinguished from the 535 by lacking the model number on the camera's faceplate.

📄 The Minolta Hi-Matic G is a quite compact viewfinder camera. Like the other Hi-Matics it has automatic exposure. And like other 1970s Hi-Matics it has the CdS window inside the filter ring and a hot shoe for the flash. Its CdS controlled exposure program set speed/aperture combinations from 1/30 sec. to 1/650 sec. The focusing ring has four distance symbols. F-Stop and shutter speed are shown in the viewfinder.
