Menyimbolkan harapan supaya manusia terus-menerus ingat darimana asal usulnya.

Masa lampau Motif Batik Kawung dipakai di lingkungan keraton. Petinggi keraton yang memakai Motif Batik Kawung menggambarkan sosok pemuka yang bisa menahan hawa nafsu juga membentengi hati nurani supaya ada harmoni dalam tindak tanduk kesibukan manusia.

Asal usul lahirnya Motif Batik Kawung yaitu saat ada pemuda yang memilik sosok berwibawa juga dihormati di kalangan kaumnya dengan cepat sebab sikap pemuda yang bijak dan santun sekali, sampai mejadikan namanya terdengar sampai di lingkungan kerajaan Mataram.
Kalangan keraton merasa penasaran dengan kemashuran sang pemuda, sampai diperintahkan pemuda ini untuk berkunjung ke raja. Mendengar kabar putranya dipanggil raja, membuat ibunya menjadi terharu dan berharap besar. Sang Ibu memberi nasihat supaya anaknya itu bisa menjaga hawa nafsu juga tidak lupa dari mana dia berasal.
Karena itulah sang ibu membikin motif batik kawung, dengan keingingan sang anak bisa menjadi seorang yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat luas.
Tak lama setelah dipanggil kalangan keraton dan diberikan sejumlah kesibukan yang selalu bisa ditepati, karenanya pemuda ini dilantik menjadi Adipati Wonobodro.
Dalam pelantikan menjabat adipati Wonobodro, sang pemuda memakai baju batik pemberian ibundanya dengan Motif Batik Kawung.
Motif Kawung bercorak lingkaran menyerupai buah Kawung yang ditata rapi secara geometris. Motif ini juga diterjemahankan sebagai gambar bunga teratai bersama empat lembar daun bunga yang merekah. Bunga teratai melambangkan umur panjang dan kesucian.

Batik Udhan Liris

Udhan Liris (Javanese) means drizzling rain. In Udhan Liris motifs are in different types, for example with geometric patroon motifs, included in slope motif (Parang slope is only between one another patroon, with no motive of its boundary). Everything is arranged side by side to form such a diagonal line. In Udhan Liris, several motifs can be prepared in parallel / 'berjejeran'.

For example, in motive Udhan Liris below are organized consisting of a motif, half Kawung, Banji, Sawut, Mlinjon, Tritis, arranged diagonally elongated meaning a hope that the wearer can survive and remain prosperous, resilient and full of initiative in the discharge of liabilities in their everyday lives.

These Udhan Liris motifs have the same meaning for the world with light rain, significantly cool the air / atmosphere. This is why also used as a blanket cover for a child in high-fever. Also symbolizes fertility.

Batik Kembang Kanthil

Kembang Kanthil means Kenanga Flower. Indescribable hand in hand, continued to connect. Batik Kembang Kanthil depicted in a groove like batik motif Parang. Oblique, and parallel in position about 45 degrees. Flower Kanthil directions in its use should be kept ducking down, as seen in the photos. It also means that even if the wearer anything as sweet and beautiful as flowers bloom, but s/he had to keep ducking / simple in their everyday lives.

It also meant that the wearer was a humble man and has an ethic in community. Another meaning of this motif is for the wearer loved and cherished in community by neighbor because of simplicity.
