How it works:
Owners should message or email Rent and Wear with the appropriate details of the dress. The dress will then be put up on both Instagram and Facebook, free of charge. A customer is then to message Rent and Wear in regards to their chosen dress. If a customer agrees to renting out a dress, 90% of the renting fee will be the owners and 10% will go to Rent and Wear. All payments must be
made through Rent and Wear. T & Cβs For Rent And Wear
Terms and conditions apply to both customers and owners. Failure to read, abide and accept these conditions is not the responsibility of Rent and Wear, but the customer or owner. Rent and Wear allows owners to make some of their well-invested money back from their loved designer outfits. It also allows girls to find a special outfit without paying too much. Failing to act in a reasonable manner will mean the person will be automatically removed from the page and banned from renting or posting their outfits. The following circumstances will factor removal:
1. Bullying, harassment, nasty comments, negativity and derogatory terms.
2. Providing customers with unwearable clothing
3. Using explicit and threatening language
4. Refusing to return the bond, or outfit back. Rent and Wear do not take any responsibility in the case of damage or loss of property when the owner rents out their dress. If a dress has been damaged or lost after a week, the customer is not entitled to receive their bond back, unless the owner has agreed. Items are to be either posted, or dropped back to the owner on the date agreed upon. The dress must also be sent back within 4 business days of wearing it. All dresses must be dry cleaned by the client upon its return, unless the owner states otherwise. Damages to the dress are to be discussed and negotiated by the customer and owner and damages should be payed back. Many of the photos shown on our instagram page and face book page are not the property of our own. All information given to us by owners and customers is confidential and will not be disclosed with any other person. Unless a customer or owner needs to contact the other party for a purpose accepted by Rent and Wear. If a customer agrees to hire an item, has payed and then later decided they do not wish to hire the dress. The owner is not obliged to send back the full payment. Customers are also entitled to try on the dress. A customer must pay for renting the dress, regardless if it was worn or not. The dress is to be worn once and by the one person only, unless a negotiation has taken place between the owner and customer and both parties have agreed. An owner should not rent their dress out to potential customers, where the dress has visible stains, rips and damages. If the dress is in a damaged state, it is to be returned to the owner immediately and a full refund must be issued. If the owner disclosed damage information to the customer before payments, no refund should be given, unless the dress is unwearable. The customer and owner can negotiate what will be given back. If an item is posted, a tracking number should be sent to both parties. If the dress is not returned, or sent, it is the person who βsentβ the item responsibilities to compensate. A bond must be issued back to the customer within two business days, of having their dress returned unless the dress was damaged or lost.
