Shaped by hands, guided by intention.
love this short clip, it brings me back to the patient, intentional work behind l u • c i e e.
The behind-the-scenes process has always been the most meaningful to me, from searching for the right fabrics to spending time in the workshop as each piece comes to life.
What stays with me most are the skilled men and women behind it. The quiet focus, the rhythm of their hands, the care in something as small as a seam or a finish. There’s a kind of pride and patience in their work that doesn’t need to be spoken, you feel it.
You don’t often see me here, and that’s intentional. I have never wanted to be the face of the brand. I want the pieces to stand on their own, over time, just as the work that goes into them does.
On days when the realities of running a business feel heavy, it’s this that brings me back. It reminds me why I started, and why it matters.
I am so grateful to all of you who have supported this journey over the years. It means more than you know.
And if you are ever curious about how things are made, I’m always happy to share.
