"EX-206 : MOKUZAI --> 19.5oz Indigo Earth Denim

our EXQuisite's final form for 2025 collection.
Selected as the last one, because we want to introduce this new name specially to you all.
Taking Setsuka's place from 2024 , MOKUZAI literally translated as TREE WOOD.
/
Our initial idea is to make a denim with a kakishibu dyed at the weft yarn to imply more Japanese influence to our product. But the idea is denied by the mills master because of personal intern reason that might not be too ethical to be mention here. So, we decide to ask them to help us dyed the weft to mimic the initial kakishibu color dye that we want to achieve using some alternative other way by mixing some natural and chemical dye.

The fabric is intentionally weaved at a little bit higher tension than the other 3 of its siblings. The reason is that if we keep it at the same tension with the others, the brownish weft color will shown too much of its appearance from the front side and take away too much of the grand indigo glory. So, we decide to weave it at a certain tension just to achieve the shade of indigo and earth color benefit each other.

So, last chance to get one of our 2025's EXQuisite Series collection, if your heart and mind sync with the aura of this jeans , you know what to do.
Because the combination of Extreme Slub, Super Dark Indigo and Earth Brown Weft is not something you see everyday.

"EX-302 : YORU II --> 21oz Midnight Slub"

For this year's model , we once again introduce something that had been idled for the last 8 years since 2017..
This EXQ-30x series is our EXQ's sub-catergory that represent a heavyweight denim which will weight from 20oz and heavier.
To still kept its slubby texture , its low tension weaving , and to make it weight 21oz is not an easy task. We need to make the yarn 1 size larger then it should be to weave a 21oz fabric.

With this, let me introduce you , "YORU II" which is translated as MIDNIGHT in Japanese.
The name derived from the fact that the fabric's indigo color is so deep and dark, that it almost look like a black. It is made possible by using a rope dyed indigo warp yarn and rope dyed indigo weft yarn.
So, the uniqueness of this fabric is that it will fades from 2 side , the front and the back and will result in a electric blue fades later.

I heard your concern and shout out about when will our new iteration of EXQuisite Series going to make it appearance once again at this colorful Indonesian denim industry.
It should have been released at march, but the EXIM policy makes it impossible for us to released it by then.
/
What i can tell you is , i have been working my ass's off just to make sure that i can present a new WWco's EXQ series with a very noticeable upgrade , different way of interpretation. And what more important is that i never derived from my egoistic approach to pursue the pinnacle of selvedge denim...
/
Introducing one of our iteration from 2025's EXQuisite Series:
"EX-205 : SHIDE II --> 19oz Broken Twill Slub"
/
For this year's model , we focused on how to be able to maintain those same unique textured faced denim that is made using a very low tension weaving technique , while also make the jeans very stiff, very dark in color , so we can achieve a fully contrast creases , combined with a beautiful slubs textured that we always notice from all of our EXQuisite Series articles. This is not by any chance an easy task, this is like having your self to drive left while looking at the right side. It is hard and confusing, but turns out, it is doable after a several failed attempt.

So here we are, we present you "SHIDE II" , which is still translated as a Intertwined Slub , to commemorate the broken slub weaving technique we also use to add more "oomph" to this year's EXQ collection that we made together with the help from our family owned Japanese mills.

Accompanying our last 2 models , this unique textured jeans is also make its way back to our stock. Better check em out before it gone for good.

The fades shows our typical signatuee of EX-10x series jeans that is more focus to a special texture and characters slubs on the surface rather than the contrast creases.

Worn by our friend Rionaldo who is the owner of .tailor , this jeans is usually worn as daily sartorialist style with almost no hard physical activitiy. This kind of vintage fades is achieved by washing the jeans once every month.

Our previous restock also include this beautiful mid-weight jeans that is purposedly made to show 2 vintage denim characters at once : SLUB and NEP.

The fades properties shows our latest generation of EX-10x series shows a smaller and more irreguler slub textures if compared to our 2021's Elemental Series.

This jeans is a perfect jeans for a denimhead who didn't have an active daily lifestyle. Cause even without the contrast creases, it will surely blow you away with its special textures and characters.

Do you know that this IDxID gem just made its way back to our online store? We did a small 40-ish pairs restock just several days ago.

Meanwhile, please enjoy this lightly faded denim worn since May this year. Without any excessive or rugged activity, this jeans already shown its personal characteristic with its intense short slub and electric blue color evolution.

~ EX-105 : 17oz SHIDE SLUB

THE EXQUISITE SERIES, our pinnacle product that we most proud of that we put as our top of the line series.
/
The 5th Iteration of our most versatile EX-10x series is made using a thicker slub yarn than what it is supposed to be to weave a midweight denim fabric. The combination of 2 unique heavier textured slub yarn is weaved at a very extra low tension construction to be able to weight only 17oz while it could be made around 18.5 - 19 ounces.

This technique will allow you to feel the unique features of EX-105 which is a super comfort yet super slubby jeans that will feel as if you are wearing a blanket. The exotic textures and surface slub panel will surely surprised you. To add more sauce to it, it is weaved using a broken twill construction so it will not twist, at all...

So, this is our "SHIDE SLUB" which is tranlated as INTERTWINING SLUB , the jeans that is made with a thought to introduce a new and unique characters of the jeans , using the technique known only by a few even in OKAYAMA itself. Elemental Hotaru "Red Brick" Fades Archieve

Worn for around 10 monts , this pair has been gone through some mountain hike and other outdoor activity.
/
Despite being weighted at 22oz per square yard, this jeans is weaved in medium tension setting. Resulting in a comfortable and and breathable yet stiff enough for those who glorify a sharp and intense creases.
