Caressing her own name, Larissa, combined with her beloved husband’s last name, Duliar; LarissaDuliar was created from the hard working attitude she had always shown in her previous career, her love and enthusiasm towards Indonesian’s original craftswomen and men, as well as her passion for fashion that grows even stronger. Not having a fashion background never stops or discourages Larissa to keep learning, seek for expert’s help and take every opportunity to advance. Goodbye Department Stores! It’s been a blast! 🥳

This end of month marks the 8th year of Larissa Duliar Jakarta.
I am blessed to carry out a fashion label that started from scratch and then be seen on the racks and walls of Alun Alun Indonesia, Debenhams, Galeries Lafayette, and Metro Department Stores.

As it is a hard decision to make, I believe it’s time to part ways. I would now re-focus on the term of SLOW-FASHION in a literal manner. Less production, more one-of-a-kind, promoting concious consumption that hopefully will lead to a less fashion waste.

SELAMAT HARI BATIK NASIONAL!
Let me tell you one love story about ❤️
Once upon a time, back in the year 1990s, there’s this lil skinny girl and she’s quite tall-for-her-age kinda girl, whose always disliked going to parties, especially wedding parties.
Why? Because she had an odd figure that didn’t fit any dresses or formal outfits, either too short or too big on the bust. In other words, ugly.
Fortunately, she had a granny who had a collection of and she started to learn how to wear them as sarongs.
And voilà she felt pretty wearing them, because it wrapped the body nicely and could be adjusted to her height and petite figure. At last, she loves going to those wedding parties ever since. The end.
Maybe you’ve guessed it. Yeah, it’s me. It’s my love story with 💕 They have helped me, they boosted my self-esteem during my teens years. So I thanked all the out there. May their good deeds and skills will never be forgotten. Aameen.

Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi roji’un. Since yesterday, Indonesians all around the world is in mourning, heartbroken to say the last goodbye to our national hero, Bapak Prof. Dr. Ing. H. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, FREng 🖤
May all the knowledge and lifelong learning he had shared with us be a shining light that will guide his journey back to Allah. And may he be united again with his lover, Ibu Ainun in beautiful Jannah. Aameen.
You will always have a special place in our hearts and will always be in our prayers.🤲🏻
