Teden dni od Ninine operacije možganskega tumorja.
V tem Äasu se je v Ninino polje zlilo tolikoooo ljubezni. Ogromno vas je stopilo skupaj ā z donacijami, delitvami njene zgodbe, spodbudnimi besedami in mislijo nanjo.

Nina po operaciji dobro okreva, tumor pa je bil po zaslugi izjemnega kirurga, dr. med. specialista nevrokirurgije Jana Å tanglja, v celoti odstranjen. Operacija je bila zaradi zahtevne lege tumorja zelo tvegana, saj je obstajala nevarnost poÅ”kodbe govornega centra. Na sreÄo je ta ostal popolnoma nepoÅ”kodovan. Na tem mestu izjemna zahvala kirurgu in celotni ekipi UKC Maribor.
V prihodnjem tednu Nino Äaka sestanek na OnkoloÅ”kem inÅ”titutu, kjer bo seznanjena z nadaljnjimi koraki zdravljenja.
Trenutno ji najveÄ težav povzroÄa huda vrtoglavica, saj je bil ob možganski krvavitvi prizadet center za ravnotežje.

Itās been one week since Ninaās brain tumour surgery.
In this past week, an incredible wave of love poured into Ninaās field. The support was overwhelming in the most beautiful way. So many of you stepped forward ā donating, sharing her story, holding her in your thoughts and prayers.
Each piece of love mattered ā each one became a quiet force that carried her forward.

Nina is recovering well after the surgery, and thanks to the exceptional surgeon, Dr. Jan Å tangelj MD, specialist in neurosurgery, the tumor was completely removed. Due to the complex location of the tumor, the surgery was extremely high-risk, as there was a danger of damaging the speech center. Fortunately, it remained completely intact.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the surgeon and the incredible team at UKC Maribor, whose expertise, compassion, and commitment made all the difference.
In the coming week, Nina will have a meeting at the Oncology Institute, where she will be informed about the next steps of her treatment.
At the moment, her greatest challenge is severe dizziness, as the balance center was affected during the brain hemorrhage.
