In celebration of National Women's Month, together with DAKILA Dumaguete, we invite you to

𝘒𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯, 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘢!: A Women's Discussion
this coming Saturday night, March 23rd, at 6PM here at Santuario.

The role of women, in every aspect of life, has long been undermined and subverted to cater to the expectations of the hegemonic class. In light of this, this symposium aims to discover the transformative power of women in their respective fields and industries to resist the perennial construction of womanhood by the patriarchy.

This event will also serve as our soft-opening for our new space. After the talks, the floor will be open for more discourse, and other performances such as poetry, music, dance, etc. in honor of the Women in our lives. See you!

Find the hidden Mickey 👀

: A women’s writing workshop is held at the Silliman University (SU) Ariniego Gallery today, March 13.

This workshop is part of the XXL Zine Fair by the SU English Society and SU Fine Arts Department Student Organization. It is also in coordination with Gender Watch Against Violence and Exploitation.

Speakers of the event also include Alyana Marie Aguja and Jireh Catacutan, editors of this year’s Sands and Coral, the longest-running student-led literary journal in Southeast Asia.
