Simposium Nasional “Masa Depan Kota Kreatif” – Petra Theatre x UK Petra

Dalam rangka ulang tahun Petra Theatre, UK Petra menghadirkan simposium yang mempertemukan praktisi teater, akademisi, pemerintah, media, dan mitra internasional. Forum ini membahas peran warisan seni, inovasi digital, dan diplomasi budaya dalam membangun kota kreatif.

Teater sebagai “memory machine” (Carlson, 2004) menjadi penjaga identitas budaya, sementara era digital membuka ruang pertunjukan lintas platform ( ). Kota kreatif menuntut inovasi masyarakatnya (Florida, 2002), dan industri kreatif menjembatani seni–ekonomi (Howkins, 2001). UNESCO menegaskan budaya sebagai penggerak pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Hadir juga Dr. IGAK Satrya Wibawa (Dubes RI untuk UNESCO) untuk memperkuat perspektif diplomasi budaya.

Tujuan inti:
1. Mendorong kolaborasi pentahelix untuk ekosistem kota kreatif.
2. Melibatkan guru SMA dan sivitas akademika Surabaya.
3. Mengangkat agenda diplomasi budaya UNESCO.
4. Menampilkan sebagai studi kasus.
5. Menghubungkan seni, media, industri kreatif, dan kebijakan budaya Surabaya.
