Ethical Fashion - The core of beachcandy's ethic is to support and encourage artisans to use the skills passed down from generation to generation.The 'trade-not-aid' ethos is central to all we do, aiming to help the people we work

with and provide you with exquisite designs that are not seen anywhere else. We benefit the people from Mumbai's slums by working with an organisation who trains and pays them a fair living wage. Through their work the men and women involved in making our clothes are given a secure livelihood and a chance to escape poverty. We also work in remote regions across India designing alongside artisans who would otherwise find it difficult to access a marketplace and earn a living. In combining the artisans' meticulous craftsmanship with our contemporary, chic and easy to wear designs we endeavour to produce a variety of beautiful items, all made with skill, love and care. The core of ethic is to make clothes that are high quality, beautiful and stylish in their own right, but are extra special because of the story behind them. Wherever possible we choose to work with hand skills over machine. Workers are paid a fair wage and are treated well.
