Ozaques (b.1996) is a visual artist who has been working and living in Yogyakarta. Ozaques is interested in looking at the imbalances in today's social environment. Ozaques takes an experimental, cross-disciplinary, collaborative and multi-medium approach. Ozaques is one of the founders of AISTHESIS Creative Space as a supporter of the non-art community ecosystem and community empowerment. In addi
tion, Ozaques is also involved in Community Care for Schizophrenia (KPSI) Simpul Yogyakarta in 2020. For Ozaques, art is not only about personal expression, but also interpersonal and cultural expressions. Ozaques started his first exhibition in 2017 and in the same year he was involved in the International Internship Study program at Babaran Segaragunung Culture House, Indonesia. From 2018 to 2019, Ozaques actively participated in art exhibitions in Indonesia. Then in 2020, Ozaques was selected to participate in the Post-skilled Artist (SPt) residency program at Padepokan Seni Bagong Kussudiardja (PSBK), Indonesia and has also participated in exhibitions in Indonesia, Pakistan, Germany, New Jersey, and Ecuador. Then in 2021, Ozaques was involved in a digital art collaborative project held by Shoebox Arts, Los Angeles and also had the opportunity to publish an experimental-based collaborative art project “Mental Illness and Creativity” in The Muse Magazine, Mc Master University, Canada. Currently, Ozaques is involved in the short film project “Suluk Ambatik” organized by Babaran Segaragunung Culture House, Indonesia.
