The Thrift Shop will be closing for the Christmas holidays on Friday, 19th December at lunchtime.

We will reopen with festive cheer on Wednesday, 7th January.

🛍️♻️ New to You – A Thrift Shop with Heart 💚

Did you know that Aughrim Tidy Towns also runs the New to You Thrift Shop? This brilliant little store is packed with pre-loved treasures and is managed by a dedicated team of volunteers, CE Scheme and TÚS workers.

🌟 Why it matters:
✅ Proceeds go right back into the community, supporting local projects and amenities
✅ It promotes sustainability and waste reduction—every item rehomed is one less in landfill
✅ It gives a second life to quality items while supporting the work of Tidy Towns

🕙 We’re always grateful for clean, resaleable donations, but we kindly ask that items are only donated during opening hours.

🚫 Items left outside the shop are considered illegal dumping and we will unfortunately be left with no choice but to notify the local litter warden.

Let’s continue to make this fantastic community resource something we can all be proud of—together! 🌼
